Our Philosophy
We're Looking for Families Who
Won't Give Up.
We're looking for families that want to grow and learn together โ families who understand that you don't just give up on things when they become hard, sometimes boring, when you lose, or when you become uncomfortable.
Real growth and life skill development happens in the hard times. We desire to be there for your family in those moments โ on and off the mat.
In today's world, everything teaches us to give up and move on. To not give activities or relationships the time to grow and see the full potential of what they can become.
We believe the best things in life are built through patience, perseverance, and showing up โ especially when it's not easy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything new families ask before their first class.
What age can my child start martial arts?
+
Children can start as early as age 3 in our ATA Tigers program. Ages 6โ12 join our Juniors classes in Taekwondo or Jiu-Jitsu, and teens and adults of any fitness level are welcome in our Adult programs.
Do you offer a free trial class?
+
Yes. New families can take a free introductory class with no commitment. Just fill out the trial form or call the location nearest you and we will get you on the schedule.
Can we start classes in the middle of the fall or winter?
+
Absolutely. You can join any week. Students are grouped by age and rank, and our instructors help every new student feel at home from the first class. Many families start now so they are ready to hit the ground running in January.
Do I need any experience or equipment to start?
+
No experience is needed. Everyone starts as a beginner. We will help you get the right uniform and gear for your program after your trial class.
What days are classes held?
+
Classes run Monday through Friday at all three locations, grouped by age and rank. Saturdays are reserved for special events, seminars and advanced training. Call your nearest location for the current class times.
Can I train at more than one location?
+
Yes. One membership gives you access to our Magnolia, Conroe and Montgomery schools, and all three follow the same curriculum.
Do you have a program for children with special needs?
+
Yes. Our "I Can" Special Abilities program offers an inclusive, supportive environment for students with special needs. Learn more on our Special Abilities page or call us.
What is the difference between Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu?
+
Taekwondo (through the ATA) focuses on striking, forms, discipline and life skills. Machado Jiu-Jitsu focuses on grappling and ground self-defense. Many students enjoy training both, and our instructors can help you decide where to start.
Do you host martial arts birthday parties?
+
Yes. We host birthday parties for kids at our locations. Call your nearest school or send us a message to check available dates.
How often should my child train?
+
Two classes a week is a great starting point for beginners. Students who train three or more times a week typically progress faster and feel more confident for belt testing.
